Since 2022, Wolfgang has served as President of the PAAG. He studied Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at TU Darmstadt and Cornell University before earning his PhD at Princeton. Over the course of more than 30 years in industry, he has held senior positions with leading companies in the fields of aviation, energy, automotive, and space. He met his wife during their time at Princeton, and together they have four children. Beyond his professional commitments, Wolfgang is an active member of the Baden-Badener Unternehmergespräche and the Cornell Club of Germany.

James is a member of the Class of 1986 and majored in Economics. He has made his career in the Life Sciences industry - working both at multinationals and at a successful start-up company - and currently supports entrepreneurs in Germany and elsewhere as they launch companies in specialty pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, medical devices and digital health. He and his wife, Maureen, live in Schwetzingen. 

A career member of the U.S. Foreign Service, Lachlyn Soper currently serves as Deputy Counselor at the U.S. Mission for International Organizations in Vienna, Austria.

From 2022 to 2023, she was a Senior Fellow at Princeton University, specializing in European security. In 2021, she directed civil-military operations at Ramstein Air Base in Germany during the NATO withdrawal from Afghanistan, facilitating the safe relocation of more than 35,000 Afghans as part of the largest NATO airlift since World War II. She also served as Deputy Director of the State Department’s Coordinator for Afghan Resettlement Efforts’ Germany platform.

Previously, she was Deputy at the U.S. Consulate in Leipzig (2020–2022) and Chief of Staff to Assistant Secretary Philip T. Reeker in the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs (2019–2020). From 2016 to 2019, she was Senior Advisor to U.S. Africa Command, following earlier assignments in Seoul, Sana’a, and Manila.

Earlier in her career, she advised the U.S. Army in Baghdad, earning the Meritorious Civilian Service Award, and worked with the United Nations in the West Bank and Syria.

Proficient in Arabic, French, and German, she holds a BA from the University of Wisconsin and a master’s in international relations from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs. 

David T. Fisher, born in New York City in 1946, is Board Member of PersonaTEC Information Management Consulting and Software Development GmbH in Wiesbaden, which he co-founded with his wife, Étel. After earning his A.B. in Politics from Princeton University and an M.S. in Human Resource Management from the University of Utah, he held managerial positions in the IT industry in the U.S. and Germany before founding PersonaTEC in 1979. Over the decades, the company has provided consulting, recruiting, software development, and interim management services to leading organizations such as Procter & Gamble, Lufthansa, Morgan Stanley, and ZDF. In addition to numerous professional publications, he is the author of Myths and Methods: A Guide to Software Productivity (1991) and the historical novel Calvin’s Crusaders (2021). Beyond his business career, he has been deeply involved in promoting German-American cultural exchange, notably as founder of the Princeton Alumni Association of Germany and former president of the Steuben Schurz Society. He also serves on the board of the Scudder Association Foundation and continues to work pro bono as Director of the Princeton Summer Work Program, the oldest internship program of the university.

Originally from Puerto Rico, Carl Kruse has more than 30 years experience as an entrepreneur and consultant. Mr. Kruse began his career with Deloitte and Touche in New York and continued with that firm in London. He went on to work with the political risk arm of Kroll Associates in Washington, D.C. where he was the director of its intelligence service. Mr. Kruse is active in the non-profit sector, particularly with organizations that focus on the arts, science and the environment and maintains four blogs in these fields. He holds a BA, Magna Cum Laude, from Princeton University, an MBA from New York University and an MA from Stanford University. He currently lives in Berlin.

First a visiting student, then enrolling in the Ph.D. program of Princeton’s School of Public and International Affairs (SIPA) Michael worked with professors in economics, political science, history, and sociology. His academic work dealt with the role of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank in borrowing countries. After Princeton, he entered a professional journey that led him from managing consulting to finance. In various professional roles he worked for the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank, Booz Allen Hamilton (now Strategy& as part of the PwC network) and Goldman Sachs. Since 2008 when founding his company, he has been serving private clients as an investor and advisor. On various occasions, he supported Princeton’s a cappella groups to visit Germany and to perform at German high schools. Together with his wife and their three children Michael lives in Frankfurt. Apart from serving the Princeton community as the chair of the Frankfurt chapter, he is also associated with the American Chamber of Commerce, the American Council on Germany, and the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt.
